1. An Inspector Calls - Eva's Death

Welcome for the blogging world Year 10!  I know you are all super excited, as I am.  So you will be here to complete your homework I'd imagine.  We have now read all of Act one and you have met the key characters in the play.

Eva Smith took her own life, but which other character do you think had the most negative impact on her?  (If you are stuck use the learning links on An Inspector Calls to help you.)

Comments below please.  :-)

    1. Interesting idea Bradley. Can you expand on this idea? Why would that put such an emotional strain on her?

  2. I think the fact that Eva lost her job because of one incident suggests that may have been the cause to her death, either way you look at it any of these events could of led her to kill herself.

    1. Nicely phrased idea Charlie. Is this the only contributing factor to her downfall in your mind?

    2. Because Eva lost her job this may have led her to feeling down because of money, her parents, family etc however the events that led on after this could of put even more strain on her. Any one of these events could of led to her death, it's the fact that she'd finally had enough and decided to end her life.

  6. hi miss

to be honest i think all of the characters have a fair part to play. if mr birling didnt discharge her , maybe the rest of the family followed and made her life harder then it could have been !
